Important P&T Information and Updates

  • Kiosks in all applicable parking locations have been deactivated. Please use ParkMobile to pay for metered parking.
  • Parking enforcement began on the morning of September 14th. Permits are required to park in UVA lots as indicated by lot signage. 
  • Permit sales, including student permits, are now on sale. Faculty, Staff, and Students, can visit the Online Parking Portal to purchase a permit.
  • Employees must take action to renew their annual permits this year.
    • Guidance on selecting the correct 2020/2021 parking permit can be found HERE
    • To renew your permit online, please click HERE
      • Log in using your UVA Credentials
      • Click on the option ‘Get Permits’ to begin the renewal process.
    • Permit holders who delay purchasing an annual permit will be able to repurchase their same annual permit at any time through August 2021.

Current Status

Updated information for UVA Health Commuters, beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2020:

  • If arriving between 5:00 AM and 8:30 AM, park in the Red Lots at Scott Stadium and ride the Redline or Redline Express to/from the Medical Center.
  • If arriving after 8:30 AM, park in the Emmet/Ivy Garage and ride the Blueline to/from the Medical Center.

UTS Academic Routes have been redesigned to emphasize transit from more distant points and to feature McCormick Road as a walking path. Service hours have been changed to allow for proper overnight cleaning of transit buses. View information on all UTS routes and schedules.

Current Status

During the coronavirus public health emergency, the P&T office on Millmont is not open to the public. Same-business day or next-business day customer service can be provided via phone, email, and live chat on this web site. Customer service representatives are available Monday, Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM at 434-924-7231 and by email at

In-person customer service is also available. If you would rather schedule an in-person appointment, please note:

  1. Appointments are not available on a same-day or next-day basis. Plan 3 business days ahead.
  2. Only one (1) customer will be served at a time.
  3. Customers and P&T personnel will observe physical distancing and will adhere to UVA’s face covering and other safety and sanitization protocols.
