Important P&T Information and Updates

Parking and Transportation has started the 2022-2023 parking permit renewal process! 

  •  If you currently pay by payroll deduction, and want to renew the same permit for 2022-2023 with payroll deductions, you do not need to do anything to renew your permit.

  • For all other parking situations, please visit the Online Parking Portal or call Parking and Transportation at 434-924-7231 (Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM) to purchase your permit.

UTS Recess Service begins on Monday, May 16, 2022. On weekend nights during Recess Service, use the Weekend Taxi Service!

P&T personnel can often respond to phone and email inquires on the same-day or next-day basis.

Except on University holidays, P&T customer service representatives are available Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5PM. P&T customer service is provided via live chat on this web site, via phone at 434-924-7231, via email at, and in-person by setting an appointment. The P&T office on Millmont is closed to the public and does not offer walk-in customer service. More information on how to contact us here:

In-Person Customer Service Appointment

  1. Appointments may not be available on a same-day or next-day basis. Plan at least three (3) business days ahead.
  2. Appointments take place at 1101 Millmont Street. A customer service representative will meet you at the north door of the building at the appointed time.
  3. Public health protocols for masking, physical distancing, and cleaning protocols apply to in-person meetings
