Terms and Conditions of Service & Privacy PolicyTerms and Conditions of ServiceEffective Date: March 2023 By consenting to the University of Virginia Department of Parking and Transportation’s (P&T) SMS text alerts by subscribing via our subscription tools, you agree to receive recurring text notifications for University Transit Services (UTS) alerts, Parking alerts, event and weather disruptions, as well as requests for reviews from us, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal do-not-call list. Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our services. PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONP&T SMS Alerts are there to provide alerts for changes in routes, service levels, delays, closures, parking lot capacity limit and redirections, etc., due to events, holidays, and emergencies. Texts will be sent from the following number: 434-939-4307 Note: These notifications run independently of UVA Alerts. There will be times when you receive a P&T notification before a UVA Alert notification and vice versa. USER OPT-OUT AND SUPPORTIf you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text messages and notifications, reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us. You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests, will not be considered a reasonable means of opting out.
