This new parking garage and multimodal hub is under construction in North Grounds at the intersection of Massie and Copeley Road, directly across from Palmer Park, home of UVA Softball. Anticipated opening in late 2026, the garage will provide additional parking capacity for daily commuters and enhance parking options for JPJ Arena events and UVA athletic competitions. In addition to parking, it will serve as a UVA Transit hub and UVA’s first dedicated space for education and promotion of bicycling and micromobility, the Wahoo Wheels Bike Garage. The building has multiple sustainable features: electric vehicle charging stations, secure bicycle storage and e-bike charging locations, energy-efficient lighting, bioretention storm basins, and bird-safe glass.
