BRITE Bus is planning to expand Afton Express service in February. The new schedule will include more frequent stops at some of the Charlottesville and Albemarle stops and a 5th trip in the evening to provide access to individuals with varied work schedules. BRITE Bus issued a public notice for public feedback before implementation. Written comments may be submitted to BRITE Bus/Afton Express staff at 112 MacTanly Place, Staunton, VA 24401 or via e-mail to paula@cspdc.org by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. An official public hearing can be requested by contacting BRITE Bus prior to the end of the comment period.
